Overnight French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread – sliced 1″ thick
  • 8 eggs
  • ¾ teas salt
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 Tbls vanilla
  • ½ cup sugar

Directions

Grease 9×13 pan & arrange bread slices in one layer. Beat remaining ingredients together & pour over bread. The bread will float to the top. Place ¾ pat of butter on each slice & sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover & refrigerate overnight. Uncover & put in cold oven @ 350 degrees (325 for glass). Cook 45-50 minutes until puffy and light. Remove from oven & let sit 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite maple or fruit syrup.
